Paid for airport collection, but did not expect to walk several hundred meters to collect the car (would have been worse if raining). Paying the additional monies would expect the car to be closer to terminal building.
Also on returning the car only one person manning the desk and also looking after car parking/inspections.

No one available to accept the returned car. Was told there would be a shuttle to the airport. Had to leave car unattended and carry my baggage to the terminal.

The car was very noisy and although it had done 63,000 miles we could tell it was well used. The engine when revved was incredibly loud. We felt it needed a service.

We were not explained that the drop off office in Bourgas is locates outside the airport in the town. In fact we were told that it is at the airport in front of the Terminal. Our SatNav also brought us to the airport terminal. It was a bit stressful. The rest of the service was excellent.

Free transfer from airport very handy. Would of prreferred an orientation of vehicle, but worked it out quickly. Booking.com advised take insurance at time of booking. Then encouraged to take toprentacar insurance. Not sure if should of. But confusing when told theirs better as Bulgaroan insurance and provided full cover.

Th agent was a bit moody and lacked the professional welcoming customer -service attitude. We were the only customers. Shortly after a family arrived and she became fussy. She said that the insurance cover that has been made via the broker/ WIZZ air was not valid, which turned out to be untrue. She explained in an agitated manner that it was in English and to be covered it had to be made through Top Rent a car. Despite explaining what the paid insurance covered, it was discarded. I had to pay extra 72 euros for what has already been covered. The car had more scratches than initially mentioned. I made a video to evidence it. Otherwise, it was a quick hand over.
Swift and easy drop-off and a shuttle service offered. No complications to return the car. The agent lacked the professional customer service etiquette and was sulky throughout.

It was very busy so it did take a while to be seen
After arriving and waiting (watching a family before us having problems with their return) I then received a text saying we were late! I replied that we were already waiting the more staff did then turn up and we were very rudely told we were late and pretty much told we were lying about when we got here! Apart from the unacceptable level of rudeness - it was not made clear to us that we had to be exactly on time returning the car. We had a flight to catch so clearly it was in our interest to not be late and to arrive about 20 minutes late was not unacceptable having driven from Veliko Tarnovo. It was the only negative from a great holiday with an otherwise great hire car experience but it did sour our last impression of the holiday. Completely unacceptable behaviour and sadly I would have to think twice before using your company again.
